Sindhupalchowk, Nepal – A massive wildfire broke out in the forests of Liping, Tatopani, Ward No. 02, Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality, prompting an urgent aerial firefighting operation. The fire incident, which occurred on the morning of Magh 20, 2081 (February 2, 2025), posed a potential threat to the under-construction Liping Khola Hydropower Project.
