Simrik Air is proud to receive a certificate of appreciation for being the official Rescue Partner at the 5th Annapurna Marathon. The honor was presented by the Annapurna Sanctuary Tourism Committee, the main organizer of the event.

This year’s marathon held special significance, as it marked the 75th anniversary of the first successful ascent of Mt. Annapurna,  a historic moment in Nepal’s mountaineering legacy. The event brought together athletes, locals, and supporters to celebrate both endurance and the spirit of the Himalayas.

The certificate recognizes the vital role of rescue support in high-altitude events, especially in regions where safety and quick response are essential. Simrik Air’s presence ensured the marathon could take place with added confidence and preparedness from the organizers’ side.

The appreciation was handed over during the closing ceremony of the marathon, where several teams and partners who contributed to the event’s success were acknowledged.
