Simrik Air Helicopter today conducted a Relief distribution flight of "Helambu Education and Livelihood Partnership" for donating certain amount, 20 solar and 50 kgs. of clothes to Thangpalkot of Paanchpokhari and Gyalthum of Helambu, recent flood hit areas of Sindhupalchowk district. Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-ANB with Pilot-In-Command Capt. Surendra Paudel flew with the relief materials to the areas badly affected by the flooding. On board were Mr. Rajesh Hamal – Famous Nepali film actor, singer and TV presenter, Mr. Jimmy Lama – Founder of Helambu Education and Livelihood Partnership and local of Helambu, Mr. Gokarna Dhungana – Board of the organization, local of Helambu and donor of solar torch lights and Mr. Bikash Lama – Chairman of Nepali Congress Sindhupalchowk to handover the relief materials. This is under an exemplary project of HELP aimed at distributing 1000 plus solar lights for helping flood victims of Sindhupalchowk light up and connect the cut off villages. A flash flood hit Sindhupalchowk District due to the incessant rain since June 15 which has claimed life of many people; some went missing while the locals have been badly affected by landslides making many displaced.
