Simrik Air Helicopter safely transferred yet another seriously ill COVID positive patient from Sindhuli Covid Isolation Center, Sindhuli to Kathmandu today. Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-ALP with Pilot-In-Command Capt. Kushal Gurung flew to Sindhuli with a PIU (Patient Isolation Unit) and fully equipped medical team to transfer the patient to Nepal APF Hospital, Kathmandu. We are thankful to In-Flight Medical Team Dr. Surya Prakash Shah and Paramedic Mr. Ravi Karki from Bhaktapur International Hospital for providing critical emergency care on air and transporting the patient to the designated hospital in Kathmandu. Till date, Simrik has airlifted over 215 COVID-19 infected patients to and from different places all over Nepal in its helicopter with fully equipped medical team and pre-hospital care.
