Simrik Air Helicopter airlifted another COVID-19 positive patient from Western Regional Hospital (Gandaki Hospital) Pokhara to Grande International Hospital Kathmandu, on 7th November 2020. Pilot-In-Command Capt. Hare Ram Thapa flew from Kathmandu with PIU (Patient Isolation Unit) along with a fully equipped medical team in the helicopter with the call sign 9N-ALP to Pokhara for this mission. We would like to thank Dr. Ajay Singh Thapa who led the paramedic team with Ms. Pooja Rani Devkota from Grande International Hospital Kathmandu to successfully accomplish this mission. Till date, Simrik has airlifted 26 COVID-19 infected patients from Butwal, Lahan, Bharatpur, Biratnagar, Palpa, Birtamod, Jumla, Dharan, Pokhara, Bhadrapur, Dhangadhi, Birgunj, Okhaldhunga and Gaighat in its helicopter with pre-hospital care. In this testing period, Simrik Air Helicopter is committed to saving lives, delivering you with the safest and the most efficient service wherever and whenever.
