Shree Birendra Hospital Chhauni, Kathmandu received a critically ill COVID-19 infected patient airlifted from Pokhara today by Simrik Air Helicopter under critical care of experienced medical team. Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-ALP with Pilot-In-Command Capt. Rajendra Duwal with fully equipped medical team flew to Pokhara to transfer the patient from Gandaki Medical College Pvt. Ltd. to Shree Birendra Hospital, Chhauni, Kathmandu. We would like to thank the In-Flight Medical Team Dr. Abhishek Deo and Paramedic Ms. Kalpana Gurung from Bhaktapur International Hospital for accompanying the patient and providing him with necessary emergency medical assistance. Till date, Simrik has airlifted 230 COVID-19 infected patients to and from different places all over Nepal in its helicopter with fully equipped medical team and pre-hospital care.
