Prompt service provider Simrik Air Helicopter with experienced team considering full safety measures, once again transferred a COVID-19 infected patient from Taplejung to Kathmandu today. Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-ANB with Pilot-In-Command Capt. Kushal Gurung with PIU (Patient Isolation Unit) and fully equipped medical team airlifted the patient from District Hospital Taplejung (Fungling) to Nepal APF Hospital, Balambu, Kathmandu amidst the challenging weather condition. We are grateful to the In-Flight Medical Team Dr. Ranju Tamrakar and Paramedic Mr. Manish Magar from Bhaktapur International Hospital for providing critical emergency care on air while transporting the patient to the designated hospital in Kathmandu. Till date, Simrik has airlifted over 220 COVID-19 infected patients to and from different places all over Nepal in its helicopter with fully equipped medical team and pre-hospital care.
