Giving continuity to transporting COVID-19 infected patients requiring immediate medical care, amidst adverse weather condition,  Simrik Air Helicopter safely airlifted a seriously ill COVID-19 positive patient today from Tumlingtar (Sankhuwasabha) to Nepal APF Hospital Balambu (Kathmandu). Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-ANB with Pilot-In-Command Capt. Siddartha Jang Gurung flew with a PIU (Patient Isolation Unit) and fully equipped medical team to successfully accomplish this mission. We would like to thank In-Flight Medical Team Dr. Ranju Tamrakar and Paramedic Ms. Anisha Kilambu from Bhaktapur International Hospital for providing critical emergency care on air and transferring the COVID-19 positive patient to the designated hospital safely. Till date, Simrik has airlifted over 200 COVID-19 infected patients to and from different places all over Nepal in its helicopter with fully equipped medical team and pre-hospital care. In these trying times, Simrik Air Helicopter is always committed to saving lives, delivering you with the safest and the most efficient service wherever and whenever.
