HAMS Hospital Kathmandu received a critically ill COVID-19 positive patient evacuated from Birtamod today by Simrik Air Helicopter under critical care of experienced medical team. Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-ALP with Pilot-In-Command Capt. Rajendra Duwal with fully equipped medical team airlifted the patient from B & C Medical College Teaching Hospital & Research Centre Pvt. Ltd. to HAMS Hospital Kathmandu. We are grateful to In-Flight Medical Team Dr. Ram Krishna Budathoki and Paramedic Mr. Bali Jung Shahi from HAMS Hospital for providing the patient with required emergency medical assistance on air. Till date, Simrik has airlifted over 230 COVID-19 infected patients to and from different places all over Nepal in its helicopter with fully equipped medical team and pre-hospital care.
