Grande International Hospital Medical Team with Simrik Air Helicopter successfully transferred a critically ill COVID positive patient from Charak Memorial Hospital, Pokhara to Kathmandu today. Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-ANB with Pilot-In-Command Capt. Hareram Thapa flew to Pokhara with a PIU (Patient Isolation Unit) and fully equipped medical team to transfer the patient to Grande International Hospital, Kathmandu. We are grateful to In-Flight Medical Team Dr. Suraj Gyawali and Staff Nurse Ms. Susmita Kunwar from Grande International Hospital for transporting the patient with utmost care and safety to the designated hospital in Kathmandu. Till date, Simrik has airlifted over 215 COVID-19 infected patients to and from different places all over Nepal in its helicopter with fully equipped medical team and pre-hospital care.
