Grande International Hospital, Dhapasi, Kathmandu received a critically ill COVID-19 infected patient airlifted from Surkhet today by Simrik Air Helicopter under critical care of experienced medical team. Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-ALP with Pilot-In-Command Capt. Bimal Sharma Sapkota with fully equipped medical team flew to Surkhet to evacuate the patient from Karnali Province Hospital to Grande International Hospital, Kathmandu. We would like to thank the In-Flight Medical Team Dr. Surya Prakash Shah and Paramedic Ms. Dristi Shrestha from Bhaktapur International Hospital for providing the patient with required emergency medical assistance on air. Till date, Simrik has airlifted over 230 COVID-19 infected patients to and from different places all over Nepal in its helicopter with fully equipped medical team and pre-hospital care.
