Fewa City Hospital, Pokhara handed over a seriously ill COVID-19 positive patient to experienced Simrik Air Helicopter Team to have him evacuated to Nepal Mediciti Hospital, Kathmandu today. Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-ALP with Pilot-In-Command Capt. Hareram Thapa flew to Pokhara with PIU (Patient Isolation Unit) and fully equipped medical team to airlift the patient to the designated hospital in Kathmandu. We are thankful to the In-Flight Medical Team Dr. Bijay Chaudhary and Paramedic Mr. Rajesh Bhandari from Nepal Mediciti Hospital for taking care of the patient and providing him with required emergency medical assistance on air. Till date, Simrik has airlifted over 230 COVID-19 infected patients to and from different places all over Nepal in its helicopter with fully equipped medical team and pre-hospital care.
