Experienced Medical Team from Nepal Mediciti Hospital managed to safely transport a critically ill COVID-19 infected patient from Bharatpur to Kathmandu in Simrik Air Helicopter today. Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-ALP commanded by Capt. Kushal Gurung fitted with PIU (Patient Isolation Unit) and fully equipped medical team flew to Bharatpur to airlift the patient from Chitwan Medical College Teaching Hospital to Nepal Mediciti Hospital Kathmandu. We are thankful to the In-Flight Medical Team Dr. Bijay Chaudhary and Paramedic Mr. Ramesh Neupane from Nepal Mediciti Hospital for providing the patient with critical emergency care on air. With this rescue, till date, Simrik Air has evacuated 240 COVID-19 infected patients to and from different places all over Nepal in its helicopter with fully equipped medical team and pre-hospital care.
