Despite challenging weather condition today, Simrik Air Helicopter safely transported a critically ill COVID-19 positive patient from Sandhikharka (Arghakhanchi) to Nepal APF Hospital Balambu (Kathmandu). Simrik Air's H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-AJZ with Pilot-In-Command Capt. Rajendra Duwal flew with a fully equipped medical team to successfully accomplish this mission We would like to thank In-Flight Medical Team Dr. Riyaz Khan and Paramedic Mr. Bikas Bade from Bhaktapur International Hospital for transferring the COVID-19 positive patient by providing critical emergency care in the helicopter. Till date, Simrik has airlifted over 200 COVID-19 infected patients to and from Arghakhanchi, Baglung, Belhundi (Dang), Bhadrapur, Bhairahawa, Bharatpur, Biratnagar, Birgunj, Birtamode (Jhapa), Butwal, Charikot (Dolakha), Damak (Jhapa), (Ghorahi) Dang, Darchula, Dhangadhi, Dharan, Diktel (Khotang), Dunai (Dolpa), Everest Base Camp, Everest Camp II, Gaighat (Udaypur), Gulmi, Halesi (Khotang),Hetauda,Janakpur, Jomsom,Jumla,Khalanga,Kusma(Parbat),Lahaan, Lokhim(Solukhumbu), Lukla, Mahendranagar, Mangalsen (Achham), Nepalgunj, Okhaldhunga, Palpa, Phaplu, Pokhara,Rara(Mugu),Rolpa,Rukum,Rukumkot, Sainamaina (Rupandehi), Sauraha (Chitwan), Simikot (Humla), Sindhuli, Surke, Surkhet, Taplejung,Thame, Thamo, Tumlingtar, Yalbang (Humla) and many other places all over Nepal in its helicopter providing pre-hospital care on air.
