Crimson Hospital under Crimson College of Technology, Butwal handed over a gravely ill COVID-19 positive patient to Simrik Air Helicopter Team to get him evacuated to Nepal APF Hospital, Balambu, Kathmandu today. Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-AJZ with Pilot-In-Command Capt. Bimal Sharma Sapkota flew to Crimson Hospital, Butwal with PIU (Patient Isolation Unit) and fully equipped medical team to airlift the patient to the designated hospital in Kathmandu. We are thankful to the In-Flight Medical Team Dr. Injmamul Haque Raque and Paramedic Ms. Anisha Kilambu from Bhaktapur International Hospital for taking care of the patient and providing him with required emergency medical assistance on air. Till date, Simrik has airlifted over 230 COVID-19 infected patients to and from different places all over Nepal in its helicopter with fully equipped medical team and pre-hospital care.
