Simrik Air Helicopter transported a gravely ill COVID-19 positive patient from Janakpur to Mediciti Hospital Kathmandu today. Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-ANB with Pilot-In-Command Capt. Hareram Thapa flew with a PIU (Patient Isolation Unit) and fully equipped medical team to successfully accomplish this mission. We would like to thank In-Flight Medical Team Dr. Bijay Chaudhary and Paramedic Mr. Ramesh Neupane from Mediciti Hospital for providing critical emergency care on air and safely transferring the COVID-19 positive patient to Mediciti Hospital. Till date, Simrik has airlifted over 200 COVID-19 infected patients to and from different places all over Nepal in its helicopter with fully equipped medical team and pre-hospital care.
