Standby crew of Simrik Air Helicopter along with medical team from Nepal Mediciti Hospital managed to safely transport a critically ill COVID-19 infected patient from Kushma to Kathmandu today amidst challenging weather condition. Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-ALP commanded by Capt. Bimal Sharma Sapkota along with PIU (Patient Isolation Unit) and fully equipped medical team flew to Parbat District Hospital, Kushma to evacuate the patient to Nepal Mediciti Hospital. We are thankful to the In-Flight Medical Team Dr. Bijay Chaudhary and Paramedic Mr. Ramesh Neupane from Nepal Mediciti Hospital for providing the patient with critical emergency care on air. Till today, Simrik has airlifted 239 COVID-19 infected patients to and from different places all over Nepal in its helicopter with fully equipped medical team and pre-hospital care.
