Thanks to Mediciti Hospital and its team for trusting our uninterrupted service to COVID-19 positive patients in such challenging weather conditions. With Mediciti Hospital's experienced emergency medical team on board, Simrik Air Helicopter transported a seriously ill COVID patient from Birat Medical College, Biratnagar to Mediciti Hospital, Kathmandu today. Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-AKD with Pilot-In-Command Capt. Bimal Sharma Sapkota flew with a PIU (Patient Isolation Unit) and fully equipped medical team to successfully accomplish this mission. We are grateful to In-Flight Medical Team Dr. Bijay Chaudhary and Paramedic Mr. Bali Jung Shahi from Mediciti Hospital for providing critical emergency care on air and safely transferring the COVID-19 positive patient to Mediciti Hospital. Till date, Simrik has airlifted over 200 COVID-19 infected patients to and from different places all over Nepal in its helicopter with fully equipped medical team and pre-hospital care.
