Nepal APF Hospital received a seriously ill COVID-19 positive patient today from Sindhuli Community Hospital airlifted by Simrik Air Helicopter. Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-AKD with Pilot-In-Command Capt. Hareram Thapa flew to Sindhuli with a PIU (Patient Isolation Unit) and fully equipped medical team to receive the patient. We would like to thank In-Flight Medical Team Dr. Eroj Manandhar and Dr. Injmamul Haque Raque from Bhaktapur International Hospital for providing critical emergency care on air and safely transferring the patient to Nepal APF Hospital, Balambu. Till date, Simrik has airlifted over 210 COVID-19 infected patients to and from different places all over Nepal in its helicopter with fully equipped medical team and pre-hospital care.
