Despite challenging weather, Simrik Air Helicopter transported another seriously ill COVID-19 positive patient from Bharatpur to Norvic International Hospital, Kathmandu today. The weather didn't look good the whole day today, however, Simrik Air waited for the right weather to make the right move to airlift the patient safely. Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-AKD with Pilot-In-Command Capt. Bimal Sharma Sapkota flew to Bharatpur with a PIU (Patient Isolation Unit) and fully equipped medical team to receive the patient. We would like to thank In-Flight Medical Team Dr. Abhishek Deo and Paramedic Mr. Manish Magar from Bhaktapur International Hospital for providing critical emergency care on air and safely transferring the patient to the hospital. Till date, Simrik Air has airlifted over 200 COVID-19 infected patients to and from different places all over Nepal in its helicopter with fully equipped medical team and pre-hospital care. In these trying times, Simrik Air Helicopter is always committed to saving lives, delivering you with the safest and the most efficient service wherever and whenever.
