A critically ill patient was safely rescued from Biratnagar to Kathmandu today by a Simrik Air Helicopter team and an emergency medical team from Nepal Mediciti Hospital. Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter, call sign 9N-ANB commanded by Capt. Rajendra Duwal with fully prepared medical team, flew from Kathmandu to transport the patient from Birat Medical College and Teaching Hospital in Biratnagar to Nepal Mediciti Hospital in Kathmandu. We would like to express our gratitude to the In-Flight Medical Team, which included Dr. Sudhir Babu Mahato and Paramedic Mr. Bali Jung Shahi from Nepal Mediciti Hospital, for providing critical emergency medical care to the patient on air, taking heed to all safety precautions.
