Simrik Air’s Swift Response: Medical Evacuation of Critically Ill Patient from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Yesterday, on February 15th, 2023, Simrik Air successfully executed an emergency medical evacuation to transport a critically ill patient from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Simrik Air’s Airbus H125 Helicopter, with call sign 9N-AJZ, was commanded by Captain Rajendra Duwal, and flew from Kathmandu with a fully equipped medical team to rescue the patient suffering from yellow fever and liver damage.

The patient was successfully airlifted from Manipal Hospital in Pokhara and transported to Medicity Hospital in Kathmandu in a timely manner for necessary medical treatment. We would like to thank the in-flight medical team from Medicity International Hospital for providing critical emergency medical care to the patient on board while adhering to all safety measures.

The prompt response and efficient transportation provided by Simrik Air’s team ensured that the patient received the best possible care.
