Simrik Air’s safety begins from the ground

Dedicated to saving lives, Simrik Air Helicopter is providing continuous service to the COVID-19 positive patients from different parts of Nepal.

The untiring effort of in-flight pre-hospital care medical team and our crew members for successfully accomplishing every evacuation with utmost safety and care is commendable. Before every COVID-19 positive evacuation flight, the in-flight medical team and the Pilot-In-Command thoroughly inspect the PIU (Patient Isolation Unit) and other in-flight medical & technical equipment to make sure that everything is in order before the operation.

We are glad to inform you that, till date, Simrik Air has successfully evacuated 35 COVID-19 positive patients from Butwal, Lahan, Bharatpur, Biratnagar, Palpa, Birtamod, Jumla, Dharan, Pokhara, Bhadrapur, Dhangadhi, Birgunj, Okhaldhunga, Gaighat and Sauraha in its helicopter with pre-hospital care.
