Simrik Air Helicopter transported another critically ill COVID-19 infected patient from Pokhara to Kathmandu today

Simrik Air Helicopter transported another critically ill COVID-19 infected patient from Charak Memorial Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Pokhara to Norvic International Hospital, Kathmandu today.

Simrik Air’s H125 Airbus Helicopter having call sign 9N-AJZ with Pilot-In-Command Capt. Hareram Thapa flew to Pokhara with a PIU (Patient Isolation Unit) and fully equipped medical team while Simrik Air’s another H125 Airbus Helicopter with call sign 9N-ALP with Pilot-In-Command Capt. Bimal Sharma returned back to Kathmandu with the patient and the medical team.

We would like to thank In-Flight Medical Team Dr. Prakesh Dangal and Paramedic Mr. Dinesh Rai from Norvic International Hospital for providing critical emergency care on air and safely transferring the COVID-19 positive patient to the hospital.

Till date, Simrik has airlifted over 200 COVID-19 infected patients to and from different places all over Nepal in its helicopter with fully equipped medical team and pre-hospital care.
