A: The itinerary starts and ends in Nepalgunj, Nepal.

A: This itinerary utilizes a combination of flights, helicopters, and bus rides. There is no trekking involved.

A: The itinerary allows for one hour each for puja and bathing at Lake Mansarovar and puja and darshan at Mount Kailash. Keep in mind this is a fast-paced itinerary with limited time for exploration.

A: From Nepalgunj all cost will be included in the package, but still, it is wise to carry some amount of money to spend in any wants that might arise during the trip.

You can exchange money in Simikot through official money changer or can get Chinese currency from the nearest bank. Our guide in simikot and hilsa will guide you to change money through official money changers.

A: Yes, we acclimatize in Simikot in Day 1 and also have enough time to acclimatize in taklakot.

A: While this itinerary avoids strenuous trekking, a good level of fitness is still essential due to the high altitude (over 5,000 meters). Consulting a doctor beforehand is highly recommended.

  • Cash: You can pay in cash at our office.
  • Bank Transfer: A secure and reliable option for electronic bank transfers.
  • EMI: Spread the cost of your trip over time with an EMI (equated monthly installment) plan offered in collaboration with few major commercial banks. 
  • EMI is at 0 % interest rate so there is no extra interest. 
  • EMI is available from NIMB, NABIL, Machhapuchhre and Himalayan banks. 
  • Banks divide total cost in 9 months and EMI will be 27,778 Per month. 
  • For Himalayan Bank EMI time is 12 Months so monthly EMI will be 20,833

A: Excluded items include transportation to and from Nepalgunj (Kathmandu-Nepalgunj-Kathmandu), Simikot restricted area permits and fees, excess baggage charges, single room supplements, beverages, personal expenses (laundry, tips, etc.), walking sticks, water bottles, extra travel insurance, and extra emergency evacuation costs.

A: The itinerary is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. Clients are responsible for any additional costs incurred due to these changes. Crew will provide all possible support, but extra cost should be paid for extra contingencies.

A: It is recommended to book at least one month before the trip.

A: To confirm your booking, you will need to send a scanned copy of your passport (valid for at least 6 months after departure).

A: A 50% deposit is required 25 days before departure, with full payment due 15 days before departure.

A: Cancellation fees vary depending on how close you are to the departure date. See the policy details above for specific percentages.

A: A Chinese visa is required for entry into Tibet. Our Crew typically assists with obtaining the visa, but urgent visa fees are not included.

A: While not included, it is highly recommended to bring a walking stick, water bottle, personal medications, and sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat for sun protection, your regular medication, extra medication as per your health condition.

A: While Travel guides provides a first-aid kit and emergency oxygen, medical emergencies can be serious at high altitudes. Evacuation by helicopter may be necessary. Helicopter can rescue only from Nepal boarder. Our travel Guide will take you to the nearest hospital or health post. Once recommended by hospital or health post about your need of evacuation, you will be guided to boarder and from boarder Helicopter will evacuate you to Nearest Hospital or Nepalgunj (whatever is feasible).

A: Yes, the package includes basic insurance coverage with the following limits:

  • Medical – 5 Lakh NPR
  • Accidental Death/Permanent Disability – 10 Lakh NPR
  • Heli-rescue from high altitude to Nepalgunj (Nepalese border only) – a recommendation from the health post / hospital is required in case of a medical emergency.

A: While the included insurance offers some protection, it is important to consider the limitations. High-altitude travel carries inherent risks, and medical evacuation costs can be very high. You may want to consider purchasing additional travel insurance to ensure you are adequately covered.

A:  This is a very sensitive and complex situation.  Here are some general steps that may be involved:

They will assist you to come back to Nepal boarder and handover to Nepalese team. Helicopter will evacuate and bring back remains to Nepalgunj.

  • Neurological conditions: Certain neurological conditions can be unpredictable at high altitude. Consult your doctor.
  • Recent surgery: Allow adequate healing time after surgery before attempting high-altitude travel.
  • Pregnancy: Pregnancy is not recommended due to the risks associated with high altitude.

A: It is essential to consult with a doctor familiar with high-altitude travel medicine. They can assess your individual health risks and advise you on whether the Yatra is safe for you. If you have any kind of severe medical condition that can keep you unsafe in high altitude, we do not recommend to travel.
