Simrik Air’s Helicopter met with an unfortunate accident at the helipad of Grande International Hospital in Tokha, on 30th June 2018 at around 02:45 PM.

After successfully airlifting a patient from Charikot to Grande, the helicopter with the call sign 9N – ALR was again on the way to Bharatpur to evacuate another patient after refueling at TIA and was landing at the helipad to ferry the medical team.

During the incident Pilot in command Capt. Hareram Thapa is safe and Simrik Air would like to thank him for preventing a further incident that could have taken place.

Simrik Air would also like to express its sincere gratitude to Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and the hospital team for their support for timely rescue.

Simrik Air is always standby at your service and assures that its normal operations shall not be obstructed by any means owing to this incident.
